Start with the symptom

What are your pipes doing?

Tell us what happened and where. The fix depends on the pipe and the damage.

  • Burst or frozen pipes

A pipe that split, froze or is spraying water.

  • Low pressure everywhere

Weak flow at every tap, not just one.

  • Rusty or discolored water

Often a sign of corroding pipes in older homes.

  • Banging pipes

Knocking or hammering when taps turn off.

Pipe burst? Shut off the main water valve and call now. We can usually be there today.

“These guys are awesome. I called and they were on it the next day. We had a water line installed from home down to dock, had a sewer leak, a toilet running, a hot water heater installed and low water pressure. They repaired everything. All the employees were so kind and done more that what they were supposed to do. I highly recommend this company to do a great job.”

My son recently inherited a 1945 mill home from his grandparents. The home needs a complete rehab, but we were looking to make it livable until the spring. It’s in a very small town and plumbers willing to take the job are limited. From the very first phone call late on a Friday afternoon about a big water leak, to the completion of the job, Duckett Plumbing exceeded my expectations. These guys are so knowledgeable. They provided me with solid options based on our needs and budget. Wayne was the best! He completed all the work on our very necessary bathroom fixes. New toilet, new shower fixtures and new shower surround. He’s thoughtful of his work and provided the best customer experience. He went so far above and beyond what was requested.

Will and Nate were.so knowledgeable and quickly assessed and diagnosed our issue with our water pressure. In addition, they provided helpful advice for troubleshooting should future issues surface. They were timely and professional and the prices were reasonable. We will call on them for future services.

Pipe questions

Common questions about pipes and water lines.

The right fix depends on the pipe, its age and the damage.

What should I do if a pipe bursts?

Turn off the main shutoff valve straight away, then call. Most visits happen the same day, and calls are answered 24/7.

Why is my pressure low everywhere?

Whole-house low pressure can come from the main line, a pressure-reducing valve or aging pipes. A technician checks each one.

Do I need to repipe?

Not always. Sometimes a section can be repaired. You’ll hear the options and pricing before deciding.

Can you fix frozen pipes?

Yes. Call before the pipe thaws if you can, since a frozen pipe can split.

Do you replace main water lines?

Yes. Duckett repairs and replaces main water lines. Describe the problem when you call.
